The variety of team options really added to the fun of the game and the longevity of it. Performances can be recorded and to really hear a performance, that is the best - and sometimes cringe inducing - way. The original vocals are still part of the audio experience, which can be slightly distracting for some and serve as a needed crutch for others. Without a doubt, this is a good time even for "non-singers" willing to give it a try. On the easy setting the game is quite forgiving, granting singers points if they are even close in pitch. Indeed, in the age of "American Idol," the game opens vocal performances to anybody with enough guts to attempt it. The game can be enjoyed by up to eight players and makes singing about as easy as can be. The mics look and feel well-made and durable. Owners of previous versions can buy only the game with its 30 new songs. The package we tried featured two color-coded microphones and a USB converter that are required to play and can be purchased with the game. It compensates for the karaoke revolution line of games in this country.
